ENL CONSORTIUM TERMINAL OPERATIONS offers complete discharging services on all essential commodities coming into Nigeria. ENL provides expert stevedoring labour, plant and equipment for a hatch free operation in Apapa. With increased efficiencies and coordination in operation from hatch to hook to warehouse, ENL has been able to reduce time spent in port by vessels, thus reducing demurrage that has plagued the ports in Nigeria in the past.

In addition ENL Consortium Ltd has embarked on a massive development plan of some $20,000,000 including fencing an area of approximately 3 kilometers; demolition of derelict sheds to provide stacking space for container handling; new initiatives regarding access control for vehicles and parking facilities to reduce congestion on the quay; introduced security to take control of access to the premises and ensuring the safety of personnel, the general public doing legitimate business as well as minimizing losses previously incurred as a result of the notorious "wharf rat" problem.
In addition, ENL Consortium Ltd has also assembled a software development arm which is guided by a veteran expatriate software developer

ASYCUDA++ (the Cargo Operation handling solution Developed by UN's UNCTAD).

Cement is the life blood of the building industry in Nigeria and ENL CONSORTIUM is pleased to be able to announce that through the off-loading partnership with the Dangote Group, we handle over 2 million tonnes of cement through our terminal each year.
To bring sanity back to the Nigerian Ports, ENL CONSORTIUMS has launched a program to totally renovate all plant and equipment acquired from NPA, only 3 items of equipment were working at the take over date in April 2006. ENL has been able to boost the equipment fleet to working pieces of equipment and the process is still ongoing. ENL has not stopped there, through Hyster Europe we are adding 35 new state of the art forklifts, freight lifters and container reach stackers to our fleet of equipment. ENL knows her most important role is to assist the Nigerian Government to control the flow of goods through the ports which is the gateway of the economy, with cost effective discharging techniques and off-loading expertise.

ENL CONSORTIUM at the take over of the terminal concessions handled approximately 220,000 metric tons of cargo monthly. Currently as a result of improved management and efficiencies we have increased the volume to 300 000 metric tons. This represents an improvement of some 36% in the six months since taking over from NPA. ENL CONSORTIUM being a fully owned indigent company has been able to handle effectively any local political and social problems facing the industry.
