The Services rendered by ENL Consortium are: Offloading of Import and loading of Export on board of vessels.
Types of cargo handled
We have the capabilty to handle bulk cargoes like Clinker, cement etc
We also have the capabilty to handle bulk general cargo: such as coils, realms of papers, frozen fish, vehicles and equipment .
Containers
Liquid bulk-e.g. Tallow, groundnut oil etc.
Warehousing/Storage:- Transit sheds, and stacking areas are available for commercial purposes for storage of goods before delivery from the Terminals at a cost.
WHAT ARE THE VARIOUS COST OF WAREHOUSING/STORAGE AT ENL TERMINAL? ANSWER:
The cost depends on the type of cargo, storage and the durations as classified in periods
1st period of 10 days (lower rate than 2nd and 3rd period)
2nd period of 10 days (attracts a higher than 1st period)
3rd period each day after (21st upward) attracts a higher than 2nd period)

IS THERE ANY RENT/STORAGE FREE PERIOD? ANSWER:
There is rent free period
(a) while the ship is discharging into the shed and stacking area, delivery of cargo is rent free.
(b) 72 hrs or 3 days rent free period is granted after the completion of discharge of the vessel.
The free rent period is to encourage prompt delivery of cargo from the Terminal at no additional cost to the customers.
Can delivery of cargo be effected without storage? ANSWER:
Direct delivery which is ship to conveying trucks without storage at the Terminal is encouraged even by our tariff.
WHO PAYS THE BILL? ANSWER:
The Registered ship Agent process and pick the cargo bill in dollar and pay before a ship is allowed to berth for discharge and loading
The registered Customs Licenced Clearing Agent process and pick the delivery/consignee bill in NAIRA and pay before delivery is effected.
IS THERE FACILITY FOR THE BULK-IN –BAGGED-OUT (BIBO) AT THE TERMINAL? ANSWER:
Quite a lot of fertilizer vessels come in bulk and are being bagged at the Terminal.
ANY CHARGE FOR BIBO? ANSWER:
Bulk- in- Bagged- out (BIBO) Operations charges depend on the type of commodity and its environmental implication and can be discussed with the management.
